Location: State College, Pennsylvania

Start Date: 06-11-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and stabilize childbearing women and neonates, developing personalized care plans
Provide education to patients and families on self-care and newborn care
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes for mothers and infants
Support family bonding and identify at-risk families for additional resources
Maintain a safe environment and promote recovery from illness

Qualifications

Current Pennsylvania RN license required
At least 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
Experience with Epic EMR is a must

Education

Completion of an accredited registered nurse program required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and care planning abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and empathy
Proficient in neonatal resuscitation and maternal-fetal monitoring
