Location: Grand Island, NE

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring, postpartum, antepartum, and post-surgical GYN patients
Monitor and titrate Pitocin, Magnesium, and Procardia drips as needed
Collaborate with charge nurse to ensure safe staffing ratios per AWHONN guidelines
Perform assessments, manage pain, and support breastfeeding-friendly care
Maintain open communication with patients and families, providing emotional support during childbirth

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience
BLS certification required
NRP certification required
Driver's license required at submittal
Ability to pass open-book exam during orientation with at least 90%
EPIC experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC charting
Knowledge of obstetric emergencies and titratable drips
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
