Roles & Responsibilities

Triage and assess patients quickly and accurately in a fast-paced ER environment
Administer medications and treatments safely while documenting care clearly
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and ED staff to prioritize patient needs
Provide compassionate patient- and family-centered care during high-stress moments
Respond to emergency codes and participate in resuscitation efforts as needed
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans

Qualifications

Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
Current BLS; ACLS and PALS preferred or obtained soon after hire
Experience in Emergency Nursing or similar acute care setting preferred
Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
Demonstrated ability to work calmly under pressure and in a team

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency nursing practices, triage, and rapid assessment
Familiarity with electronic health records and clear clinical documentation
Ability to manage trauma, acute medical, and behavioral health presentations
Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and families
Skill in IV therapy, medication administration, and emergency procedures
