Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across multiple facilities within the zone
• Triage, assess, and stabilize patients in a fast-paced ER environment
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per protocol
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float between zone locations as needed, adapting quickly to different team environments
• Step into CNA or sitter support roles during low census to help ensure patient safety and team coverage
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC while maintaining compliance with ACLS, PALS, and TNCC standards

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Utah or a compact state - ready to have your DL submitted for the 60-mile zone
• At least 2 years of emergency nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS (AHA), ENPC or PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
• Comfortable floating throughout a 60-mile radius zone, including mid-shift assignments
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• A flexible, adventurous spirit ready to jump in wherever needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep understanding of emergency nursing principles and trauma care (Level 4 trauma)
• Strong triage and critical thinking abilities
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for floating between locations
• Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Ability to thrive in a float pool role across multiple hospital campuses
