Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 24-hour on-call coverage, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM, approximately 10 days per month including trauma call

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert 24-hour trauma call coverage at a bustling Level One Trauma Center
Perform hand-related procedures and traumatic hand reconstructions that save lives and restore function
Handle general plastic surgery needs like facial laceration repairs, scar revisions, skin grafts, and flaps
Deliver minor burn care to adolescent through geriatric patients
Respond in-person for consults, procedures, and follow-up visits when required
Collaborate with the trauma team to keep patients local and avoid transfers

Qualifications

Board Certified in Hand Surgery
Experience with hand-related procedures, traumatic reconstruction, and plastic surgery techniques
Comfortable with 24-hour on-call trauma coverage
