Roles & Responsibilities

• Work independently to assess and treat patients
• Perform transfers and mobilize patients
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients

Qualifications

• Current CA PT license
• AHA BLS certification
• Experience in post-acute physical therapy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Physical Therapy degree

Knowledge & Skills

• Physical therapy techniques and modalities
• Post-acute care principles and practices
• Electronic medical records (EMR) - Cerner
• Interdisciplinary team collaboration
