Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate preventative dental care, including cleanings and oral health assessments
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques to promote long-term dental health
• Take and develop dental x-rays safely and accurately
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to deliver seamless patient experiences
• Document patient care and treatment plans with precision and care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (or compact eligibility)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, patient-focused attitude
• Ability to work flexible daytime and evening shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapy
• Familiarity with digital radiography and dental charting software
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Ability to make patients feel at ease during procedures
