Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with procedures, from initial exams to adjustments, keeping every visit smooth and comfortable
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments so everything is ready when the patient arrives
• Take impressions, pour models, and prepare orthodontic appliances with precision
• Capture radiographs and intraoral photos to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning
• Walk patients and families through post-treatment instructions with a friendly, reassuring approach
• Partner with the clinical team to keep patient records accurate and the schedule on track

Qualifications

• Orthodontic Assistant certification required - let's see that certification
• Hands-on experience in orthodontic assisting is a must
• Radiography/X-ray certification is a plus
• A positive, patient-focused attitude that makes every patient feel at ease

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of orthodontic instruments, materials, and procedures
• Skilled in infection control and sterilization best practices
• Comfortable taking dental impressions and digital scans
• Strong communication skills for explaining care to patients and families
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced dental office
