Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients, creating a comfortable and positive experience
• Perform thorough cleanings, scaling, and polishing to promote optimal oral health
• Educate patients on personalized oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies
• Partner with our dental team to ensure every patient leaves with a smile
• Accurately document patient care and contribute to a collaborative, caring environment
• Take high-quality dental X-rays and prepare for procedures with attention to detail

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (new graduates welcome!)
• CPR/BLS certification is required
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental anatomy, oral pathology, and periodontal disease
• Hands-on experience with dental instruments, sterilization, and infection control
• Comfortable with digital radiography and dental software
• Excellent verbal communication for patient education and team collaboration
• A detail-oriented approach to patient records and treatment plans
