Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, no weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services to a mix of inpatients and outpatients in a supportive acute care setting
Treat a variety of diagnoses including ortho, neuro, wounds, and general debility
Collaborate with a team of 2 FT staff PTs and supportive nurses for integrated patient care
Precept new staff as needed and contribute to a positive team environment
Manage 7 treatment hours per day with a focus on quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Texas Physical Therapy license and national certification (NPTE)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 2 years of experience in physical therapy, preferably with IP/OP exposure
Comfortable with wound care (preferred but not required) and MEDITECH charting
Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in inpatient and outpatient physical therapy settings
Experience with wound care, ortho, neuro, and post-surgical rehabilitation
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced acute care environment
Familiarity with MEDITECH electronic health records
