Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Travel
Location: Little Rock, Arkansas
Start Date: 06-07-2026
End Date: 09-12-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver therapy interventions exactly as outlined in the PT plan of care
- Document patient progress and responses to treatment to keep the team informed
- Assist patients with education and home exercise programs that support their goals
- Communicate patient status and observations to the supervising physical therapist
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards in every interaction
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to help patients achieve meaningful outcomes
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state PTA license, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- A genuine passion for helping patients restore mobility and improve their quality of life
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in physical therapy interventions and treatment techniques
- Strong documentation skills for patient progress notes
- Patient education and home exercise program development
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and clear communication
- Infection control and safety compliance
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
