Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy interventions according to each patient's plan of care
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately
• Empower patients through education and tailored home exercise programs
• Keep the supervising PT informed on patient status and changes
• Maintain a safe, infection-controlled environment that supports healing
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to help patients achieve their goals

Qualifications

• Active state PTA license (or ability to obtain one)
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Ability to follow treatment plans with precision
• Comfort collaborating with physical therapists and the care team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong skills in delivering physical therapy interventions
• Solid patient documentation practices
• Patient teaching and home exercise instruction
• Clear communication with supervising PTs
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborative mindset for interdisciplinary teamwork
