Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Travel
Location: Danvers, Massachusetts
Start Date: 08-05-2026
End Date: 11-04-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized therapy interventions following the PT plan of care to help patients restore mobility and independence
- Document patient progress and response to treatment with accuracy and compassion
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs to support continued improvement
- Communicate patient status clearly and proactively with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team
- Maintain safety, infection control, and compliance standards during every session
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state PTA license (or ability to obtain before assignment start)
- Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- A genuine passion for helping patients achieve their therapy goals
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Physical therapy interventions and treatment plan execution
- Patient care and mobility restoration techniques
- Accurate documentation and patient education
- Home exercise program instruction
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Infection control and safety compliance
- Active PTA license
