Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions and exercises as outlined in the PT plan of care, helping patients restore mobility and function.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately, keeping the therapy team informed.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques to support continued recovery.
• Communicate regularly with the supervising Physical Therapist to update patient status and adjust treatment approaches.
• Uphold safety, infection control, and compliance standards in every patient interaction and treatment session.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Kansas PTA license or ability to obtain before your start date
• Ability to implement treatment plans and adapt to patient needs
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• A collaborative spirit and a genuine passion for helping others
