Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and functional limitations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore mobility and function
Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve strength and range of motion
Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed to achieve optimal outcomes

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and team members

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation
Proficient in using therapeutic modalities and equipment
Ability to create patient-centered care plans
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Comfortable working in a transitional care setting
