Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
• Receive, process, and verify prescription orders
• Prepare medication doses, labels, and packaging
• Manage medication inventory
• Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred or required
• Active Maine Pharmacy Technician registration/certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent Pharmacy Technician experience

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology
• Medication safety and pharmacy operations
• Proficiency with pharmacy information systems and electronic medical records
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
