Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with chairside procedures and patient preparation
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, ensuring a clean and safe environment
• Take dental X-rays and obtain patient records as needed
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
• Support patient flow and accurate documentation using Denticon
• Maintain inventory of orthodontic supplies and materials

Qualifications

• Must be Orthodontic Certified
• Prior dental assisting experience is preferred
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Commitment to maintaining a sterile and safe environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Chairside assisting techniques
• Orthodontic equipment and instruments
• Infection control and sterilization protocols
• Dental record documentation
• Patient education and communication
• Familiarity with Denticon or similar dental software
