Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient exams, procedures, and adjustments
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are sterile and organized
• Take dental X-rays, impressions, and digital scans as needed
• Educate patients on orthodontic care, including braces and aligner maintenance
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with appointment scheduling
• Provide a warm and comforting presence to help patients feel at ease

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Active dental radiography (X-ray) certification
• Previous orthodontic experience preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help patients
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and OSHA standards
• Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
