Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during examinations and procedures
• Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and safety
• Take dental X-rays and impressions as directed
• Sterilize and prepare instruments and treatment rooms
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or willingness to obtain certification
• Valid X-ray certification or ability to acquire
• Prior experience in orthodontics or dental assisting preferred
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Familiarity with orthodontic procedures and equipment
• Excellent patient care and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
