Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including cleanings and preventive treatments
• Educate patients on oral health and at-home care techniques
• Assist dentists during exams and procedures to ensure smooth patient experiences
• Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and treatment areas
• Take and process dental X-rays as needed

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Prior experience in a clinical dental setting is a plus
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene best practices and infection control protocols
• Proficiency with dental software and patient management systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
