Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care and prophylaxis to patients during 30-minute appointments
• Deliver gentle, effective cleanings while ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and preventive care
• Collaborate with a dedicated dental assistant to optimize patient flow
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and uphold infection control standards
• Support the dental team in maintaining a welcoming, efficient clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong clinical skills with attention to patient comfort

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid knowledge of dental hygiene instrumentation and sterilization
• Ability to work efficiently within 30-minute appointment timeframes
• Attention to detail in patient care and documentation
• Teamwork and adaptability in a collaborative dental setting
• Understanding of infection control protocols
