Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with braces, aligners, and other orthodontic procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take dental X-rays and impressions
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care of orthodontic appliances
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Provide exceptional patient care and comfort throughout their visit

Qualifications

• Must hold orthodontic certification
• Experience in orthodontic assisting preferred
• Current CPR certification a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures
• Proficient in dental software for patient records
• Skill in taking X-rays and impressions
• Understanding of sterilization and infection control standards
• Strong organizational skills
