Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with patient exams and orthodontic procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment for each patient
• Take dental x-rays and create impressions to support treatment planning
• Apply and adjust braces, wires, and other appliances under supervision
• Educate patients and families on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate patient records using Denticon

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or comparable experience
• Radiology (X-ray) certification for dental procedures
• Previous orthodontic assisting experience is a plus
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Friendly, patient-focused, and great with people of all ages

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures
• Familiarity with Denticon dental practice management software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Compassionate chairside manner and excellent communication
