Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments
• Educate patients on personalized oral hygiene techniques
• Capture and develop dental x-rays with precision
• Apply preventive treatments like fluoride and sealants
• Accurately document patient care and maintain records
• Collaborate closely with dentists on treatment plans

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist license in New York State
• Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Clinical experience in dental hygiene (new grads welcome)
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Excellent communication skills and a caring bedside manner

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and patient care
• Comfortable with digital x-rays and dental software
• Strong patient education and motivational skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinic
• Detail-oriented with accurate documentation
