Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care including cleanings, examinations, and preventive treatments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and at-home care techniques
• Take and develop dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure a smooth patient experience
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to strict infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New York State (required)
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in a dental office setting is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and equipment
• Knowledge of dental software for patient records and charting
• Excellent patient communication and education skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and infection control
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
