Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists in providing high-quality patient care and treatment
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to ensure safety
• Take and develop dental x-rays to aid in diagnoses
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic appliance care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients

Qualifications

• Active orthodontic assisting certification (required)
• Previous experience as a dental assistant, preferably in orthodontics
• Familiarity with dental software systems (e.g., Denticon) is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a caring approach to patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in orthodontic assisting techniques and procedures
• Familiarity with dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization protocols
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients of all ages
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
