Location: Rutland, VT
Start Date: 08-02-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
- Support patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff
- Collaborate with nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
Qualifications
- Active LNA certification in Vermont or New Hampshire
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Must have completed the COVID-19 vaccine series or present a documented medical or religious exemption
- Must be able to provide a state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus but not required
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility compliance requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and medical terminology
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to assist with lifting and mobility support
