Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to maintain oral health
• Take and interpret dental x-rays to identify potential issues
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
• Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential records
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments following infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Wisconsin
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient care
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures
• Proficiency with dental software and digital record keeping
• Understanding of sterilization and infection control standards
• Radiography certification and safe x-ray practices
• Excellent patient education and chairside manner
