Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, individualized dental hygiene care to pediatric patients
• Perform thorough cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealant applications
• Capture high-quality dental X-rays and assist the dentist with procedures
• Educate young patients and parents on healthy oral hygiene habits
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a sterile, safe environment
• Collaborate with the dental team to create a positive experience for every child

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Maryland
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
• Excellent communication and chair-side manner
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Attention to infection control and safety protocols

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Skill in taking and processing dental radiographs
• Understanding of pediatric dental behavior management
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
