Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care to pediatric patients, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and proper dental care techniques
• Partner with the dentist to deliver compassionate, patient-centered treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a safe, sterile environment
• Build positive relationships with young patients to make dental visits fun and comfortable
• Support the dental team with radiographs and other clinical tasks

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Dental Hygienist license (or ability to obtain before start)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with pediatric dentistry preferred, but enthusiastic new grads are welcome to apply!
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing excellent patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency with digital radiography and dental software
• Excellent patient education skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Comfortable working with children
