Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to patients
• Perform oral health assessments and document findings
• Take and process dental X-rays with precision
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Assist the dentist during procedures as needed

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
• Proficiency with dental software and radiography
• Exceptional attention to detail and infection control
• Effective time management and organizational skills
