Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect patient smiles
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene
• Strong patient communication and education skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced dental environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Knowledge of dental software and patient records management
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust with patients
• Sharp attention to detail for accurate documentation
• Commitment to maintaining strict infection control standards
