Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy to patients in a 36-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Develop individualized treatment plans for neuro, ortho, TBI, and SCI populations
• Utilize estim, Bioness, and other specialized modalities to enhance patient recovery
• Collaborate with an interactive medical team and participate in stroke committee support groups
• Document patient progress accurately in Meditech Magic/Expanse
• Support patient mobility with portable and in-room lifts and safety equipment

Qualifications

• Active OTR/L certification
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient rehabilitation experience
• Experience with Care Tool and Meditech Magic/Expanse documentation
• Clinical experience with neuro, ortho, TBI, and SCI conditions
• Comfortable using estim, Bioness, FES, and patient lift equipment
• Ability to work rotating weekends

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of inpatient rehab protocols and patient care
• Skilled in functional assessments and treatment planning
• Proficient with Meditech Magic/Expanse electronic health records
• Heart for patient-centered care and team collaboration
• Familiarity with stroke certification and UDS quality standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
