Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Hospital: 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM (24-hour shifts), Clinic: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Call: 1 in 5 days, 1 in 10 overnights and weekends, 24-hour in-house

Candidate Pay Rate: $203 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage low and high-risk pregnancies with expert FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
Perform routine and complicated vaginal deliveries, low forceps, C-sections, breech, multiples and abruptions
Handle VBACs and expertly repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
Conduct OB ultrasounds for viability and anatomic screening
Deliver office gynecology procedures like IUDs, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery and LEEP
See 20 patients daily in clinic and handle 8 deliveries plus 8 surgeries weekly
Collaborate with a team of 5 OB/GYNs and 2 mid-levels for optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Board Certified OB/GYN
Active Colorado license
DEA certification
Experience in OB/GYN practice including Epic documentation

Education

Medical Degree (MD or DO)
OB/GYN Residency completion
Board Certification in OB/GYN

Knowledge & Skills

Low risk pregnancy management
High risk pregnancy handling
FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
Routine and complicated deliveries including C-sections and VBACs
Laceration repairs
OB ultrasound interpretation
Office gynecology procedures
Epic system proficiency
