Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and patient conditions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and update care plans
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in the state of Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Completion of COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption
• Ability to provide state or federal identification for facility badging
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of nursing care principles and best practices
• Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations
• Comfortable using electronic health records for documentation
• Effective communication with patients, families, and teammates
• Teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Adaptability and reliability in a per diem role
