Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Shift 1, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM (30-minute meal break)

Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient vitals and report changes to the healthcare team
Assist with daily living activities and ensure resident comfort
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to promote optimal health outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility policies

Qualifications

Current and valid LPN license in the state of Maine
CPR certification (BLS) required
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Education

Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication administration and wound care
Knowledge of state and federal regulations for long-term care
Empathy and patience when working with elderly residents
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic computer skills for electronic health records
