Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: As needed, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care to individuals in a rehabilitation setting
Administer medications accurately and safely as prescribed
Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress
Assist patients with activities of daily living and promote independence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maryland
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a rehab or long-term care setting preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication administration and patient monitoring
Knowledge of rehabilitation nursing principles
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective time management and organizational skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
