Roles & Responsibilities

Provide clear direction and guidance to nursing staff on policies, procedures, and patient care priorities
Organize workflow and assign nursing resources to maintain smooth patient flow across the hospital
Make supervisory and administrative decisions in collaboration with clinical leaders and the CNO
Monitor employee productivity, deliver constructive feedback, and coach staff to improve performance
Collaborate closely with charge nurses and both clinical and non-clinical support staff to resolve issues
Respond to patient and family concerns with empathy and timely action to maintain high-quality service
Serve as a resource nurse and escalate complex clinical or operational situations appropriately

Qualifications

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Montana
CPR required; ACLS and PALS required or must be obtained within 6 months of employment
Minimum 3 years' experience as an RN in a hospital setting, with recent ICU experience preferred
Hands-on experience with ventilator support, A-lines, invasive lines, and chest tubes
Proven nurse leadership or resource nurse experience with supervision and patient flow responsibilities
Comfortable using multiple IV pumps and advanced medical equipment

Education

Degree from a Nursing Program

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced nursing principles and post-operative care knowledge
Strong background in cardiac monitoring
Patient flow management and resource allocation
Critical thinking, problem solving, and independent decision-making
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and customer-service skills
Ability to initiate and develop projects and manage a busy workload
