Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (flexible per diem schedule)

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to elderly residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Support residents with meals and hydration, promoting independence
Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for all residents

Qualifications

Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of elder care best practices and safety protocols
Skilled in using adaptive equipment and mobility aids
Ability to handle physical demands of the role (lifting, standing, walking)
Proficient in documenting care and reporting observations
