Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, various days per diem

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to geriatric residents
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Support residents' mobility and transfers
Maintain a safe, clean, and dignified environment
Collaborate with the care team to enhance quality of life

Qualifications

Active GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification in Maryland
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required

Education

Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of geriatric care principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to assist with lifts and transfers safely
Attention to detail in documenting care
Flexibility to adapt to varying resident needs
