Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to residents, assisting with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, and eating
• Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents
• Support residents' emotional and social well-being through meaningful interactions
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in the state of Maryland
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to lift and move residents safely
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with the elderly and making a difference

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care techniques and safety protocols
• Excellent observation and reporting skills
• Empathy and patience in handling resident needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
