Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during exams and procedures, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for children
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and develop dental X-rays with a gentle touch
• Educate young patients and parents on proper oral hygiene
• Provide support to the dental team to keep operations running smoothly
• Maintain accurate patient records with attention to detail

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred
• X-ray certification required or willing to obtain
• Prior experience in a pediatric dental setting is a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Compassionate and patient personality
• Strong communication skills with children and parents

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures and instruments
• Familiarity with sterilization techniques
• Ability to take dental X-rays
• Understanding of pediatric patient care
• Proficiency with dental software
• Excellent interpersonal skills
