Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans with a focus on trauma and stroke imaging
• Support the Emergency Department by expediting patients with timely and efficient imaging
• Operate GE CT systems and utilize Terra Recon or alternative platforms for image reformatting
• Maintain a safe, compassionate, and patient-focused environment following AIDET principles
• Collaborate with the ER team and fellow technologists to deliver excellent patient care
• Document scans accurately in Meditech and GE Centricity

Qualifications

• 1+ years of CT experience required
• ARRT CT certification and Florida Radiologic License required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with GE CT systems required
• Trauma and stroke imaging experience a plus
• Ability to float to main department as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Computed Tomography (CT) imaging and patient care
• Proficient with GE CT systems and Siemens equipment
• Image reformatting, including Terra Recon
• Familiarity with Meditech and GE Centricity documentation systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for ER collaboration
• Knowledge of trauma and stroke protocols
