Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, with on-call, weekend, and holiday requirements

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare the operating room for surgeries, ensuring a sterile and safe environment
Assist surgical teams by handing instruments and supplies during procedures
Anticipate the needs of surgeons and respond quickly during critical moments
Maintain and organize surgical instruments and equipment
Monitor patient vitals and assist with positioning and prepping
Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety standards

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
Minimum of 1 year of recent OR experience
Previous travel experience strongly preferred
Level 1 Trauma center experience required
Burn experience is a plus
BLS certification from AHA required

Knowledge & Skills

Expert knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
Ability to handle high-stress situations and fast-paced environments
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
