Location: Rio Rancho, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as scheduled), Nights, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and support to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe mobility and transfer techniques to reduce fall risk
Accurately document resident care and communicate observations to nurses and supervisors
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Valid state CNA license or eligible for license transfer in New Mexico
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to work overnight 12-hour-style shifts and remain alert through the assignment
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by the facility
Dependable, patient-focused, with strong teamwork and communication skills

Education

High school diploma or GED
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of resident care standards and safe patient handling
Familiarity with infection control practices and PPE use
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate bedside manner
Basic charting and documentation skills, ability to follow care plans
Time management skills to prioritize resident needs during busy shifts
