Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility with proper body mechanics
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
• Assist with meal, hygiene, and comfort needs while preserving patient dignity

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
• Comfortable working overnight hours and performing physical patient care
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Basic life support (BLS) preferred or willing to obtain
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient hygiene and ADL assistance
• Vital signs collection and basic clinical observation
• Safe transfer and mobility techniques
• Infection prevention and standard precautions
• Accurate documentation and electronic medical record familiarity
• Compassionate, patient-centered care and teamwork
