Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct resident care including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document vital signs and resident conditions during the shift
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility support, and fall prevention
• Communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team about resident needs
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident environments
• Support mealtime, hygiene, and toileting needs with dignity and respect
• Accurately document care and any changes in resident status in accordance with facility policy

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, active and in good standing
• Ability to work overnight shifts and pick up per diem assignments as needed
• Valid authorization to work in the United States
• Comfortable with patient lifting, transfers, and providing hands on care
• Willingness to pass background check and comply with facility immunization requirements
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain upon hire

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification and state registry listing

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and bedside manner skills
• Good observation skills and the ability to report changes accurately
• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, safe transfers
• Clear communication and teamwork with nursing staff and other caregivers
• Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Documentation skills and attention to detail
