Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff
• Support residents with meals and hydration, promoting proper nutrition
• Maintain a clean and safe environment to prevent infections and accidents
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• At least 6 months of experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and infection control
• Ability to use medical equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and thermometers
• Understanding of resident rights and confidentiality (HIPAA)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Physical endurance to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods
