Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Shift 1, 6:45 AM - 3:00 PM (30-minute meal break)
Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, helping with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to keep residents safe and comfortable
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health and behavior to the nursing team
- Support residents with meals and hydration, ensuring nutritional needs are met
- Maintain a clean, welcoming environment and uphold infection prevention standards
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine or ability to obtain one
- COVID-19 vaccination or documented religious and/or medical exemption as required by the facility
- Ability to pass a background check and provide state or federal issued identification
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Willingness to wear a photo badge at all times while on duty
- New graduates welcome; prior experience is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care and hygiene practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Physical stamina to assist with lifting and transferring residents
- Understanding of safety and infection control protocols
