Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily living assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and changes in resident condition
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to maintain safety and comfort
• Collaborate with nursing staff to implement personalized care plans
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for residents
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
• Completed COVID-19 vaccine or documented medical/religious exemption per facility policy
• Ability to provide a state or federal issued photo ID and wear a badge at all times
• Compassionate, reliable, and committed to resident dignity
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and infection control practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
• Adaptability and teamwork in a fast-paced care environment
